Description

This is a centre silencer delete / mid silencer delete / resonator delete / deres pipe designed to fit the BMW X5 4.8 V8 N62 (E70) standard factory oe exhaust system.

This part is designed to give a slightly sportier sound so there is no need to buy an expensive aftermarket exhaust system.

You will also gain a small performance advantage by removing the restrictive, standard exhaust silencers.

Designed to easily remove the centre silencesr on your BMW X5 4.8 V8 N62 (E70)’s standard exhaust system.

• Fits the standard factory oe exhaust only. It WILL NOT fit any aftermarket or performance exhaust.
• Please check your exhaust carefully for compatibility before purchasing.
• Only fits the vehicle listed. It will NOT fit any other vehicles.

Hand made to order, so please allow 24 to 48hours for dispatch (excluding weekends).

 

Fitting instructions:-

• There are 2 silencers on the X5. You will need to mark and then cut the standard exhaust as required.
• Left hand silencer ( Looking forward from rear of vehicle ). Cut 4″ from the exhaust mount on the front side of the silencer as shown in the photos.
• Then cut 3″ from the rear of the silencer as shown in photos.
• Right hand silencer ( Looking forward from rear of vehicle). Cut 4″ from the front of the silencer.
• Then cut 5″ from the rear of the silencer as shown in the photos.
• The resonator deletes are made in 2 parts to make it easier to install them without having to remove the entire exhaust system.
• We recommend using a power saw for easy access and accuracy.
• You will need to use exhaust assembly paste when fitting this part (not supplied).
• Designed for easy DIY fitment, however if you have any doubts about fitting yourself then we would recommend professional fitting.
